Jumbangla Desk: Acting Chairman of BNP Tariq Rahman has commented that the conspirators have indulged in mischievous efforts to create anarchic situation in the country by mixing with the agitators by using the movement as a shield. He highlighted 16 points and urged the countrymen to be patient, calm and alert.
Tarique
He made this call in a statement signed by Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP, Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, on Wednesday (November 27) in the current political situation.
Tariq Rahman said in the statem
ent –1. In view of the recent events in the country, I would like to draw the attention of the countrymen and say a few words. After the escape of the ousted dictatorship, in post-coup Bangladesh, on the one hand, the account of the people deprived of their rights for a long decade and a half, on the other hand, the fire of revenge of the fugitive dictatorship; All in all, there is a chaotic situation in the country.
2. The runaway dictatorship created a mountain of irregularities in various sectors of the country in the last 15 years. All the rights of the people were taken away. People from different classes and professions are coming down on the streets to restore those lost rights and break the mountain of irregularities in a dictatorship-free environment.
3. The supporters of the fugitive dictatorship who have lost illegal power and illegal privileges are trying to use this movement as an opportunity to demand the people to destabilize the government. Using the movement as a shield, the conspirators have indulged in mischievous attempts to create anarchy in the country by mixing with the agitators.
4. By exploiting various issues related to people's rights, the conspirators have spread a web of conspiracy in the country. Attempts to create a planned anarchy across the country are becoming increasingly visible. Intolerance is observed in the minds of the people.
5. There is no room to see the incidents that have happened in different parts of the country including the capital Dhaka in the last few days as isolated incidents. In recent times, the inactivity of those who destroy state stability has become alarming.
6. The students who played a brave role in the front row in the street protests against the mafia government, why suddenly they became so vengeful against each other? This is the question that has emerged in the public mind.
7. After such a successful coup by the students, why would the students vandalize the classrooms? Why set fire? There is no opportunity to see these events normally. If someone is taking advantage of the people's rational movement situation to 'sabotage', the law enforcement agencies have to investigate it closely. Monitoring of the situation should be increased.
8. The government should also look into this matter deeply whether the ousted autocracy has indulged in mischievous attempts to create a communal situation in the country. Besides, Bangladesh's side must be united to deal with the ongoing situation.
9. I urge the interim government to take control of the situation with a firm hand. People can become impatient if the government fails to demonstrate efficiency. The minions of the fugitive dictatorship are waiting for the people to become impatient.
10. As I have repeatedly said, alleviating the daily woes of the people should be the first and foremost priority of the government to 'determine what can be done'. The interim government needs to remember that due to the current market situation, crores of families in the country are having to compromise their means and means every day. It is not uncommon for many to prioritize 'family over reform' in such dire circumstances to meet family expenses.
11. Conspirators can use this sensitive issue to destabilize the government if the market cannot be controlled to bring the price of essential commodities within the people's purchasing power. The allies of the fugitive dictatorship are waiting for that opportunity.
12. I urge the interim government to take urgent steps to ensure political and economic empowerment of the people. Trust the people. Be in people's confidence. Anti-dictatorship national unity has been built on the blood of thousands of students. The government should show prudence so that no act or word of the government should cause a crack in the unity of the students.
13. In the current situation of the country, I would like to humbly appeal to the countrymen to say that it is the constitutional right of the people to protest for their demands. So of course people have right to protest. However, everyone needs to be especially careful that the anti-interested evil forces and fugitive dictatorship of Bangladesh cannot use this movement as a shield to derail the objective of the popular uprising.
14. It is important to keep a sharp eye so that the beneficiaries of dictatorship do not divert the movement of the people for their just demands. The government and the people must always be vigilant so that miscreants who are fleeing or hiding in the country or abroad cannot enter the rational movement of the people and sabotage it.
15. The current interim government has assumed responsibility in a special situation. It is with responsibility that this government continues to try to maintain stability in the fragile state left by the runaway dictatorship. In this situation, the conspirators will not get an opportunity to confuse the situation of the country if any grievances of the people are presented to the government properly. In order to establish equality, human dignity and social justice in a mafia-free Bangladesh, achieved in exchange for the lives of thousands of martyrs, it is necessary for every democracy-loving and freedom-loving citizen of the country to play a responsible role.

16. The ongoing situation in the country is my appeal to the patriotic people, give the government some time. Show some more patience. keep calm Be alert and aware of the situation. All of us, irrespective of caste, creed and creed, must remember that freedom-loving people will pay a heavy price if they fail to prudently cross the obstacles of the conspirators on the way to establishing democracy.
