Appearing on a podcast recently, Reham Khan also explained the reason behind her previous comment.

Earlier, in 2016, Hania had said the same to Aamir for the first time, Reham Khan, who produced the actress' first film. He then emphasized the importance of financial stability and personal development before his marriage.

Reham Khan said, 'I believe a man should get married only when he feels that 'I have reached a place in life and now I need a partner'.

The British-Pakistani journalist added that women often succumb to the pressure of biological deadlines and societal expectations in their 20s or 30s. But marriage does not always bring the expected freedom.

He warned women, 'Many girls think that they will get freedom after marriage. But this is not always true. One should not get married just because of societal pressure or just for the sake of marriage. It should be a choice, not a requirement'.

Reham Khan also shared that she gives the same advice to her own daughters. He emphasizes on achieving financial and emotional independence.

He clarified, 'I am not against social or institutional arrangements like marriage. But I believe that it is not suitable for everyone. You must first establish a strong position in the career, then, if desired, think of a partner'.

Reham Khan had earlier asked Hania Aamir to focus on his successful career and hoped that he would work in Bollywood in the future as well.

The Pakistani film producer also said that social norms often pressure women into early marriage. At the same time, she advised young women to prioritize their personal and professional development.
