palestine
Allah Ta'ala has made the land of Palestine a virtuous and blessed land. (Surah: Al-Isra, verse: 1)
Imam Ibn Jarir At-Tabari (RA) said: Here there will be eternal and infinite goodness and blessings. (Tafseer Tabari, Volume 14, Page 448)
Others said: The meaning of blessing is the rivers here, the fruits, the prophets and the prophets. (Irabul Qur'an, Volume 1, Page 197)
Narrated by Ibn Abbas (RA), Palestine and Jordan are meant by the land about which Allah said, 'I have blessed its surroundings' (Al Isra, verse-1). (Fazayilu Baytil Maqdas, page 441)
It should be noted that in the context of the recent division of the geographical boundaries of the land referred to as 'Syria or Sham' in the hadith, Syria refers to Palestine, present-day Syria, Jordan and Lebanon.
In five places in the Qur'an, the land of Palestine is called a virtuous and blessed land. In one of those verses, Allah says, 'And those who were considered weak, We made them inheritors of the east and the west of the land on which We sent down blessings, and the good word of your Lord concerning the Children of Israel was fulfilled, because they were patient; And I destroyed all that Pharaoh and his people built and all that they grazed.' (Surah: Al-Araf, verse: 137)
Holy Land
'Arde Muqaddas' means Holy Land. Allama Ragib Ispahani (RA) said: Baitul Maqdis is the name of the holy place from Shirk and Kufr. (Tafseer Ragib Ispahani, Volume 2, Page 636)
Allama Yujaz (RA) said: The Holy Land refers to Damascus, Palestine and some parts of Jordan. (Ma'anil Qur'an, Vol. 2, Page 162)
Allama Taqi Usmani (may Allah be pleased with him) said: By 'Holy Land' is meant the region of Sham and Palestine. Allah Ta'ala chose this land to send the Prophet. Hence it is called 'Holy Land'. (Tafseer Tawzihul Qur'an, page 334)
Land of Hashr
Allah Ta'ala called the land of Palestine 'Land of Hashr'. Allah Ta'ala has said: 'He is the one among the people of the Book who drove the disbelievers from their homes in their first assembly.' (Surah: Al Hashr, verse: 2)
The 'first gathering' here refers to the gathering of these Jews in the land of Sham, when the Prophet (PBUH) expelled the Banu Nazir from Madinah. (Tafseer Tabari, Volume 23, Page 262)
Narrated by Allama Zuhri (RA) that their first collective exile on Earth was in the land of Syria. (previously)
Talk about Palestine without any adjectives
In many places in the Qur'an the land of Palestine is mentioned without any adjective. In one of the verses, 'I (Allah) informed the Children of Israel by decreeing in the Book, you will cause disaster twice in the world and you will show great pride.' (Surah: Bani Israel, verse: 4)
Allama Shawqani (RA) in his Tafseer of this verse says that the 'Earth' here refers to Sham and Baytul Maqdis. (Fathul Qadir, Volume 3, Page 249)
In another verse, the oath is by the 'Tin' (fig) and 'Zaytun' (olive) trees and by Mount Tur in the Sinai desert. (Surah: At-Tin, Verses: 1, 2)
Most commentators say: Here by 'teen' and 'zaytun' are meant the places where this tree grows in abundance. And that place is Syria and Palestine, which is the home of the Prophets. (Ad Durrul Mansoor, Volume 8, Page 554)

Statement of some areas of Palestine
Some areas of Palestine are also mentioned in the Qur'an, for example—
1. And We made the son of Maryam and his mother (i.e. Jesus and Maryam alaihimas salam) a sign and sheltered them in an upland, which was peaceful and where clear water flowed. (Surah: Al Muminun, Verse: 50)
Here by 'Highland' is meant 'Ramlah', which is the name of a region in Palestine. (Tafseer Tabari, Volume 17, Page 53)
2. Then it came to pass that Mary conceived the child (and when the time of the birth drew nigh) she took him away to a secluded place. (Surah: Maryam, verse: 22)
Mufassirs have interpreted this verse to mean that Maryam (a.s.) went to a distant place when she became pregnant. Ibn Abbas (RA) said: He went to Al Aqsa Valley and this is 'Bethlehem'. There is a distance of four miles between 'Bethlehem' and 'Ilia'. And another name of 'Ilya' is Baytul Maqdis. (Tafseer Tabari, Volume 15, Page 492)
3. And (remember also) when I said, Enter this town and eat from it to your heart's content. And will enter Natshir through the entrance (of the town) and will say, (O Allah!) We seek forgiveness from You. (Thus) I will forgive your sins and give more (reward) to the righteous. (Surah: Al-Baqarah, verse: 58)
Scholars differ about the geographical location of this town. According to the majority of scholars, 'township' here means Baitul Maqdis. (Ad Durrul Mansoor, Volume 1, Page 172)
Narrated by Ibn Abbas (R.A.): Here 'door' means 'Babe Hutta' of Baytul Maqdis. (Tafseer Tabari, Volume 2, Page 103)
4. Then when Talut set out with the soldiers, he said (to the soldiers), Allah will test you by a river. (Surah: Al-Baqarah, verse: 249)
Ibn Abbas (RA) said that the river here refers to the river between Jordan and Palestine.
(Ad Durrul Mansoor, Volume 1, Page 759)
5. One day when they reached the ant valley, an ant said, O ants! Enter your house, lest Sulaiman and his soldiers crush you unawares. (Surah: An-Namal, verse: 18)
Imam Razi (R.A) said: Here by 'Valley of Ants' is meant the 'Valley of Sham', where ants are abundant and it is located around the Valley of 'Ashkelon'. (Mafatihul Ghaib, Volume 24, Page 548)

This holy land, the sanctity and blessing of which is mentioned repeatedly in the Holy Qur'an, as Muslims whose inheritance is mentioned in the Holy Qur'an. This land has been ruled by the Muslims under the veil of great blessing and sanctity; But it is a pity that we have forgotten our glorious history, due to which the impure Jews of Israel are occupying this holy and holy land and carrying out barbaric and brutal killings and attacks on the Muslims here. Muslims all over the world should understand its sanctity and try their best to restore this holy place. May Allah protect the Palestinian Muslims and give them victory. Amen.
