The reasons for which bathing is obligatory
1. Ghusl is obligatory if a man or woman ejaculates with excitement for any reason while sleeping or awake.
2. If you have a dream, if there are traces of semen on your clothes after waking up, you should take a bath.
3. Ghusl becomes obligatory when husband and wife come together physically. Ghusl is obligatory even if intercourse is in the early stage or no ejaculation has occurred.
4. After the end of menses, women have to take a bath to purify themselves.
5. Women are required to purify themselves by taking a bath after the cessation of nefas or postpartum bleeding.
