Jumbangla Desk: Information and Broadcasting Adviser Nahid Islam said that the communal terrorists who killed lawyer Saiful Islam Alif must be severely punished. The adviser said this in a post on his verified Facebook page on Tuesday (November 26) night.

In the post, Nahid said that the interim government has sincerely considered the demands of the minority community since the beginning. But Chinmoy Krishna Das was trying to create communal divisions by making false and inflammatory statements in various meetings. Despite the sedition case, Chinmoy Krishna was holding various meetings without taking any legal action. Basically, the main purpose of such activities was to attract the attention of the world media and present Bangladesh and the July coup in a negative light.

The information advisor also said that the manner in which a lawyer was hacked to death by supporters of Chinmoy Krishna in the Chittagong court is unprecedented.

Nahid Islam said that Chinmoy Krishna was working with a plan to destroy harmony in the country and created such terrorist supporters for communal purposes.

The advisor said, the fascist Awami League has always wanted to use the minority community to do a communal politics.

Nahid Islam mentioned the minority Hindu community citizens of Bangladesh and said, 'We will ensure their safety. But the government of Bangladesh will ensure maximum justice in the legal process for the sabotaging Hindutva terrorists.'
