Jumbangla Desk: The traffic department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has registered 1,993 cases against traffic violators in various areas of the capital .

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC) Muhammad Talebur Rahman of Media and Public Relations Department of DMP confirmed this information on Tuesday (November 26).

Earlier on Monday (November 25) these cases were registered by the traffic department of DMP.

Talebur Rahman said that 32 cars were dumped and 56 cars wrecked during the operation. The operation of DMP traffic department will continue to maintain traffic order in Dhaka metropolitan area.
