Acting Chairman of BNP Tarek Rahman said, we have freed the country from dictatorship. Now is the time to build the country. We must not only have talented doctors, engineers, but also professional players with talent.

He spoke from London as the chief guest in the final game of Shahid Zia Memorial Football Tournament organized by district BNP at Shahid Abul Kashem College ground of Lalmonirhat Sadar Upazila on Thursday afternoon.

The Acting Chairman of BNP said that good professional players should be made with talent in the coming days. Good cultural personality has to be created and to do that we have to plan.

He said that if BNP comes to power in the future, we will select 8-10 games which are popular in the country and abroad. Then I will bring out good players for those games from the soil of this country, from among the children of this country. We will train them to international standards. So that we can bring honor to the country.

Tariq Rahman said, there is an idea in our society that we should study. Study to become a good engineer-doctor. Such is our social structure; But I think, if we can make someone who has talent as a player as a professional, he can also support his family. Even if we develop as professional cultural workers, many people will get employment.

He also said that under Shahid Zia's power, a program called New Twenty was launched; The aim of which was to find talented people in various subjects. If the BNP is able to form the government in the future, such talented people will be trained and developed to national and international standards.

At this time, he said to his party leaders, according to what you have seen here today, such initiatives will be taken throughout the country.
