A member of the Parliament of India raised a question alleging violation of human rights, claiming that the incidents of violence against the minority Hindu community in Bangladesh have increased.

Ever since the fall of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in a mass coup, India has been complaining that Hindus and other minorities are being subjected to massive persecution in Bangladesh. The Indian media has also published exaggerated news like hundreds of Hindu temples, houses and businesses were burnt.

In response to this, the chief adviser of the interim government. Muhammad Yunus also called upon Indian journalists to come to Bangladesh and report on the ground. But despite this their propaganda campaign did not stop. Meanwhile, after the arrest of Bangladesh Sanatani Jagran Manch spokesperson Chinmoy Krishna Das on charges of treason, India has once again started running on the issue of minorities.

Among these, Bangladesh was discussed in the country's parliament on Thursday. Media NDTV reported that several MPs spoke about Bangladesh in the Lok Sabha (Parliament). They ask whether there has been an increase in vandalism of Hindu temples and idols in Bangladesh. Whether the Government of India has raised this matter with the Interim Government of Bangladesh or not.

In response to these questions, Indian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh told the parliament that in the last few months, information about vandalism of Hindu temples and statues has been heard in Bangladesh. The Indian government has expressed its concern in this regard. These include the attack on the pujamandap in Tantibazar, the theft of the gold crown from the Kali temple in Satkhira during Durga Puja. The Government of India has urged the Government of Bangladesh to ensure the security of places of worship of all minorities including Hindus. Apart from this, India has told Bangladesh that it is the responsibility of the interim government to ensure the safety of all citizens of the country, including minorities.

Meanwhile, Indian media reported that Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar regarding the arrest of Sanatani Jagran Manch spokesperson Chinmoy Krishna Das and its transition. The two discussed the alleged increase in persecution of minorities.
