A group of dogs broke into a house on Vasuki Street in Arumbakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and caused a terrible incident. An 80-year-old man was bitten and bled by a dog. He died after being taken to hospital.

It is known that the 80-year-old man is not married. Lived alone at home. He was sick and bedridden for the last three days due to physical ailments. His nephew was taking care of him during his illness. He used to feed the old man and return home.
According to the police, the incident took place around 9 pm on Tuesday. A neighbor named Rani went to the old man's house to inquire about his body. Then the old man expressed his desire to drink hot water to the neighbor. Then the neighbor went to bring water to the house leaving the door open. That's when disaster struck. Two dogs entered Subramanian's house and attacked him. Bite him badly.
Hearing the screams of the old man, Rani rushed there. Then he saw two dogs biting him. He immediately called the neighbors for help. Then the neighbors reached there and chased away the dogs; But Subramanian was bleeding profusely.
Police said Subramanian visited his brother Lakshman and his wife Manimeklai a few days before the incident. He fell ill on his return.
Subramanian's house has a grill gate, police said. There are some trees along the boundary of the house. It is believed that sometimes the dogs entered his house. The police have started investigation by registering a case of unusual death in this incident.
