The half-melted body of an unidentified teenager (14) was recovered from the lake of Mugdar Green Model Town in the capital. The police sent the body to the Dhaka Medical College (Dhamek) hospital morgue for post-mortem on Thursday (November 28) morning.

Sub-Inspector (SI) of Mugda Police Station Borhan Uddin said that on Wednesday (November 27) night, a half-melted body of a teenager was recovered from the lake of Road No. 2 of E Block of Mugda Model Town. Later, after the legal process, the body was sent to Dhamek morgue for post-mortem.

He said that the matter is being investigated whether the teenager was killed by someone or he fell into the lake and died due to some other reason. The identity of the teenager is not yet known. CID has been informed. Attempts are being made to identify him through finger prints. The exact cause of death will be known after the autopsy report.
