There is a story from Sahabi Abu Sahl Ibn Hunaif regarding Bad Nazr on Mu'atta Imam Malek. When he took off his clothes to take a bath, Amer ibn Rabi'a saw a fit body.
Seeing his body, his face fell, 'I have never seen such a beautiful and radiant body. Then Sahl ibn Hunaif developed a severe fever. On receiving this news, the Prophet (PBUH) ordered Amer Ibn Rabia to perform ablution and keep some of the water in a container. Then pour it on the body of Sahl Ibn Hunaif.
Sahl ibn Hunaif was saved from illness when he did as instructed. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) warned Amer Ibn Rabia and said, 'Why do you want to kill your own brother? Why didn't you bless him when your eyes saw his beautiful body? Remember, it's true to get caught up.'
Allah says in the Holy Qur'an, 'When the unbelievers hear the admonition, let them strike you with their eyes, and they say, 'This is a madman.' ' Surah Kalam, verse: 51.
In the Tafsir of the verse, Allama Ibn Kasir (R.A.) said, Narrated by Abdullah Ibn Abbas (R.A.), 'They will strike you with their gaze', 'They will cast an evil eye on you.
'That is, they will make you sick with the reflection of envy, if Allah does not protect you. So the verse bears proof that there is a reality of the evil effects of badnajr, by the command of Allah.
Badan's attention to good things causes harm. Therefore, if you see someone's beauty, property or any kind of improvement, it is necessary to pray for improvement and well-being.
It should be said, 'Barakallahu Fihi' may Allah bless it 'Masha'Allah' or La Hawla Wala Quwata Illa Billah. Apart from this, to be protected from badanjar or if the affected person recites Ayatul Kursi, Surah Ikhlas, Falaq, Naas and acts regularly, he will be cured from badanjar and if he is attacked, he will be cured inshallah. Children can also get chickenpox.
It is mentioned that Rasulullah used to take children in his arms and blow various prayers to save them from badanjar. He used to recite the following supplication to Hazrat Hasan and Hussain (RA).
The prayer is - 'Wizukuma bikalimatillahit tammati min kulli shaitanin wa hammatin wa min kulli ainin lammatin.'
That is, I want to keep both of you under the protection of the word of Allah, from all kinds of devils, from painful things and from all kinds of evil eye. Bukhari.
