God Almighty, the owner of the universe, says, 'O people! Fear your Lord, who created you from a single man and created from him his consort and from them spread many women.' Surah Nisa verse 1. In this verse, it is reminded that the creation of men and women is from the same source. Allah also said, 'They (wives) are your garments and you (husbands) are their garments.' Surah Baqarah verse 187. Recognizing the rights of women, the Qur'an states, 'Women have equal rights (over men) as men have over women.' Surah Baqarah, verse 228.

It is not who is male or female in the sight of Allah, but the acceptance of a servant is determined on the basis of good deeds and piety. Allah says, 'Whoever performs good deeds and good deeds in the state of faith, whether male or female, I will surely give him a pure life (in this world) and I will give him a good reward for those good deeds in the Hereafter.' Surah An-Nahl, verse 97.

Rasul (pbuh) said, 'The child's heaven is under the mother's feet.' In married life, Islam has emphasized on the right of the wife over the husband. It is stated in the hadith that refusing to pay another's debt for the able-bodied is oppression. For this, his punishment and misfortune are determined. According to the hadith, not giving dowry and dowry, which is the rightful right of the wife, is also a form of oppression by the husband on the wife. Narrated by Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Masood (RA). On the Day of Resurrection, one by one, each man and woman will be brought before all the people of Hashar in captivity and it will be said, this is the son of so-and-so or the daughter of so-and-so, if anyone owes anything to him, collect it. At this time the disenfranchised woman will be happy, who was deprived of her rights by her father, brother and husband. He will collect his dues from them. Then he recited this verse, 'On that Day they will not have mutual kinship and will not inquire of each other.' Surah Mu'minun, verse 101. He also said that on that day the Merciful Allah will forgive his rights to whomever He wills, but will not forgive anything owed to other people. Then Allah will make that woman or man stand in front of the people of Hashar and say to the claimants, 'Come forward to accept your dues.'


In ancient Arabia, female children were buried alive . Rasul (pbuh) referred to raising children as a means of Paradise. Said, 'Whoever has three daughters or three sisters or two daughters or two sisters, and if he cares for them and fears Allah regarding their rights, Paradise is inevitable for him.' It is said in the hadith, 'Education of knowledge is obligatory on every Muslim woman.' Umm Sahihain ibn Majah. Hazrat Abu Huraira (R.A.) narrates, once a man came to the Prophet's court and asked, "Who is more entitled to my favor?" The Prophet (PBUH) said, 'Your mother'. The man asked, then who? He replied 'your mother'. The man asked again, then who? Again he replied 'your mother'. Bukhari.
