He will be seen singing in a charity concert titled 'Echoes of Revolution' at the Army Stadium in the capital on December 21 (Saturday). Proceeds from the concert will go to the Shaheed July Memorial Foundation to support the families of martyrs and injured in the July uprising.

This information was announced at a press conference organized by 'Spirits of July', the organizer of the concert, at Madhur Canteen of Dhaka University (DU) on Friday (November 29) at 4 pm.

In a written statement at the press conference, it was said, 'We, a group of students of Dhaka University (DU) will hold a charity concert titled 'Echoes of Revolution' on December 21 (Saturday) through a platform called 'Spirits of July' to stand by the families of those killed and those injured in the mass movement of July-August. going to organize We want to support the families of those injured and killed in the movement with the entire proceeds from this concert.'


The main attraction of the concert is the world-renowned musician Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, who will perform music free of charge, the written statement said, 'On Thursday (November 28), a contract was signed with him for 'Spirits of July'. In this contract, he has committed to perform at our concerts free of charge, that is, his remuneration will also be paid to the families of the injured and killed.'

Apart from this, it is mentioned in the written statement that the local bands Artsal, Chirkut, Ashes, Aftermath and rapper Sejan and Hannan will also perform at the concert for a small fee.

It is also mentioned in the written statement that a memorandum of understanding was signed with the organization on November 12 on the 'Spirits of July' platform to donate the proceeds from this concert to the 'Shaheed Juli Smriti Foundation'.
