A fund of crores of rupees is being raised under the supervision of religious advisor for the family of martyred lawyer Saiful Islam Alif. The humanitarian organization Alhaj Shamsul Haque Foundation is in charge of collecting this fund.

The religious adviser said that the promising young lawyer Saiful Islam Alif could have given a lot to the country and the nation in terms of establishing the rule of law, human rights and justice. But he was brutally killed. Those involved in this heinous murder will not be spared. The government is determined to provide the maximum punishment under the existing law to the criminals.

The advisor also said that Bangladesh is a state of communal harmony. National and foreign reactionary groups are plotting to destroy this communal harmony. Efforts are being made to obstruct the process of building a non-discriminatory nation. In no way can one step into the trap of this conspiracy. Communal harmony cannot be allowed to be destroyed.

He requested the countrymen to play a tolerant and responsible role in protecting communal harmony.

At the end, the father of Shaheed Saiful received a cash pledge of one million taka from Alhaj Shamsul Haq Foundation, a check of taka 5 lakh from As-Sunnah Foundation and a check of taka 5 lakh from Al-Manahil Foundation for the sustenance, treatment and education of the family members affected by the murder of the religious adviser. He handed over one lakh rupees on his behalf.
