The Provost Professor of Keramat Ali Hall demanded the withdrawal of 20 students who were expelled and fined for ragging in Patuakhali Science and Technology University. Abdullah Al Mamun and some teachers were blocked by the students.

The students blocked them from 7 pm on Friday till 8.30 pm till last news.
The teachers are - Student Affairs Advisor Professor Dr. Zillur Rahman, Sherebangla Hall Provost Professor Abdul Malek, Provost Council Convenor Professor Dr. Some teachers including Masudur Rahman.
Earlier, on November 23, at 2:30 in the morning, students of the undergraduate first year (2023-24) session staying at M Keramat Ali Hall of the university were subjected to ragging. In this incident, on the afternoon of November 24, the Provost of Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib Hall, Professor Dr. A 5-member investigation committee was formed with Asadul Haque as the convener and Prof. Abul Bashar Khan as the member secretary.
Based on the investigation report of the committee, the administration expelled and fined 20 students for different periods on November 28. In protest, the students blocked some teachers along with the student affairs advisor in M Keramat Ali Hall.
