According to an Al Jazeera report on Friday, Erdogan noted that Turkey is making relentless efforts to take united action on behalf of the Islamic world. "We continue to help the people of Gaza and Lebanon," he said.

Erdogan noted that Turkey is one of the largest donors of aid to the Palestinians. Also, Türkiye has already strongly condemned Israel's attacks on Gaza and Lebanon.

According to the Reuters report, Türkiye has previously discussed a possible ceasefire with Hamas and recommended that they move forward with the process.
