Jumbangla Desk: A number of elected representatives from Connecticut said that there have been threats to attack the homes of five US Democratic legislators.

U.S. Reps. Jim Hyams, Jahanna Hayes, John Larson and Zoe Courtney of Connecticut made the threat in separate statements on Thanksgiving Day.

Jim Hyams said political violence has no place in this country. Hope we all have a peaceful holiday season.

Police told Jahana Hayes Thursday morning that a pipe bomb had been placed in her mailbox, the email claimed. But later no bomb was found. Police are still investigating.
