Jumbangla Desk: The dead body of a young woman has been recovered from the side of the Dhaka-Mawa highway service road. Police said that five bullet shells were recovered from the side of the body.
On Saturday (November 30) at around 8 am, the locals reported the body to the police after seeing the body on the Dogachi service road in Srinagar. Later, the police went to the spot and recovered the body.
The police believe that the woman was shot and killed.
Some locals said that the young woman was seen walking on the road with a young man on Saturday morning. However, there is no information about who or who shot him.
Srinagar Police Station OC Qayyum Uddin Chowdhury said that the police reached the spot on Saturday morning. Five bullet casings were found next to the bullet-riddled body.
He said, initially it is believed that he was taken to that place and shot dead in the early morning. Srinagar Thana Police has started working with PBI to solve the mystery. The body has been sent to Munshiganj General Hospital morgue for post-mortem.
