Advocate Alif murder case filed in Chittagong, 46 accused

Father Jamal Uddin filed this case as a plaintiff 3 days after the murder of Alif at Kotwoali police station in the port city of Chittagong on Friday (November 29) night.

The accused in the case are - Chandan, Aman Das, Shubo Kanti Das, Bunja, Ranab, Bidhan, Vikas, Ramit, Rumit Das, Nayan Das, Gagan Das, Vishal Das, Omkar Das, Vishal, Rajkapur, residents of Bundel Road Sevak Colony area under Kotwali police station. Lala, Sameer, Sohail Das, Shiv Kumar, Biglal, Parash, Ganesh, Om Das, Poppy, Ajay, Devi Charan, Dev, Joy, Durlabh Das and Rajeev Bhattacharya.


Chittagong Metropolitan Police Media and Public Relations Department Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kazi Md. Tarek Aziz said that a case has been filed against the name of 31 people in the murder of Advocate Saiful Islam Alif. Unknown 10 to 15 people have been accused in this.

Alif's brother Khan Alam filed another case against 116 people alleging assault and vandalism on the court premises.
