The boy's family alleged that Rezaul Karim was caught in the early hours of November 26 and his school-going son was arrested and framed in the arms case.

The arrested school student is the son of Rezaul Karim of Teknaf Hnila Dargahpara area. He is a seventh standard student of Hnila High School.

In the notification, the police said, in the morning of November 26, in front of Nurul Amin's house in Teknaf Hnila Dargahpara Sakin, under the leadership of Teknaf police station OC Gias Uddin, SI (Unarmed) Badiul Alam, ASI Md. Adam Ali, ASI Tushar Das along with the force conducted the operation on the road. During the raid, Rafi was arrested when he fled on sensing the presence of the police. At that time, foreign weapons were found in the blue shopping bag with him.

Rafi's father, Rezaul Karim, said, "Mainly because of politics and elections, a party has systematically implicated my infant son in the arms case without getting me." In 2021, Hnila received Academy Scholarship in Class IV and GHF Scholarship in Class V in 2022. My son could not appear in the ongoing annual examination.

Giyas Uddin, officer-in-charge of Teknaf police station, told the media that they were raiding the dargah on Wednesday night. At that time, when the two people saw the police and wanted to run away, they caught Rafi. Then a foreign pistol, six rounds of ammunition and 40 rounds of shotgun ammunition were recovered from a blue colored shopping bag in his right hand.
