Jumbangla Desk: Religious advisor Dr. has taken the initiative to form a fund of crores of rupees for the family of government lawyer Saiful Islam Alif who was killed in Chittagong. A F M Khalid Hossain. As the first installment of this fund, he handed over a check of Tk 7 lakh given by various institutions to Alif's family. Humanitarian organization Shamsul Haque Foundation is in charge of collecting this fund.
The matter was informed in a press release of the Ministry of Religion on Friday (November 29) night. Earlier in the morning, the religious advisor participated in pilgrimage and prayers at the grave of the martyred lawyer in Pantrisha village of Lohagara, Chittagong.
Lawyer Saiful Islam Alif was brutally killed by commenting the religious adviser. AFM Khalid Hossain said, this promising young lawyer could have given a lot to the country and nation in terms of establishing rule of law, human rights and justice. But the killers did not give him that chance. Those involved in this heinous murder will not be spared. The government is determined to impose the maximum punishment under the existing law on criminals.
At this time, he said that it would not be appropriate to comment on the banning of ISKCON. He said, Bangladesh is a state of communal harmony. Various domestic and foreign reactionary groups are plotting to destroy this harmony. Apart from this, efforts are being made to obstruct the process of creating a non-discrimination country. In no way can one step into the trap of this conspiracy. Communal harmony cannot be allowed to be destroyed.
The advisor requested the countrymen to play a tolerant and responsible role in protecting communal harmony.
Later, religious adviser lawyer Saiful inquired about the family members of Islam and expressed his deepest condolences to them. Alif's father received Tk 100,000 in cash from Shamsul Haque Foundation, a check of Tk 500,000 from As-Sunnah Foundation and another Tk 100,000 from Al Manahil Foundation.
