He made this comment at a workshop for young lawyers organized by the Supreme Court Bar on Saturday (November 30) morning.

The Chief Justice said that the Supreme Judicial Council has been formed to remove judges; Which was earlier with the Parliament. A formal proposal has been made to the government to separate the Judiciary.

Addressing the young lawyers, he said that institutional self-governance is an integral part of the independence of the judiciary. Young lawyers should strive to uphold the dignity of the judiciary. Lawyers have to act more responsibly in the recent incidents in the court arena. The Judiciary will generally proceed as a combination of Bar and Bench.

At this time, a minute's silence was observed in the case of the murder of lawyer Alif. Later, around 5th August, a special prayer was offered for the victims of the movement.

In addition to the Chief Justice, Appellate Division Senior Justice Zubair Rahman Chowdhury, High Court Division Justice Farah Mahbub, Attorney General Md. Asaduzzaman, Supreme Court Bar President Mahbub Uddin Khokon, Nationalist Lawyers Forum President Advocate Zainul Abedin were present. About 1,500 young lawyers who have become new members of the bar have joined the workshop from all over the country.
