Several officials of JN Roy Hospital confirmed this information to news agency PTI on Friday. According to their news, West Bengal's JN Roy Hospital has issued a notification saying it will not treat Bangladeshi patients indefinitely.


JN Roy Hospital official Subhranshu Bhakta said that they have issued a notification that they will not admit any Bangladeshi patient for treatment from today till an indefinite period. They have taken this decision to protest against the desecration of the Indian flag.

Subhranshu Bhakta urged other hospitals in Kolkata to take similar action as part of a protest against alleged atrocities on minorities in Bangladesh.
