During this time, he presented 32-point proposals aimed at accelerating the ongoing democratic movement. The important points of the proposal are, the election of the President by direct vote of the people, the candidates participating in the parliamentary elections should be nominated by the party after being elected by the majority of the members of their respective parties, increasing the national income from the blue-economy, making the job recruitment rules transparent and neutral, the education system up-to-date and to modernize
Saiful Rashid Chowdhury said that there are many political parties in Bangladesh. Whichever party has come to power, no party has practiced democracy properly. They have carried out a farce of voting for those who cling to power. We have noticed that patriarchy has been established in the name of politics. As a result, even after so many years of independence, Bangladesh has not achieved the institutional form of democracy. Our objective is to restore people's rights through the practice of real democracy.
He also said that initially we have started our activities in ten districts. A four-member convening committee has been formed.
Meanwhile, the central joint convener. Juliach Khan Tagore, Md. Sheikh Farid Ahmed and Md. Media workers of district print and electronic media including Yar Ali were present.
