The newly constructed railway from Dhaka to Khulna over Narail via Bhanga Junction was officially inaugurated on Monday . Narail district is joining the Padma Bridge Rail Link project for the first time . Earlier , 3 experimental trains ran on this route . Last on November 24 , the train went to Khulna via Narail from Kamalapur in the capital at 9:10 am with 12 coaches . Now just waiting for the opening. The doors of immense possibilities are opened through the movement of trains on railways over Narail . What was once a dream for the people of Narail , has now become a reality .

In this, not only the development of the art - culture , sports and tourism industry of Narail by the world-renowned painter SM Sultan , but also the establishment of factories will play an important role. By starting this train , one can travel to Dhaka in just 2 hours from the district city . Apart from traveling by train in a short time , the people of Narail hope to expand and change trade through the transportation of agricultural products . It is known that the train will reach Khulna regularly with 12 coaches from Kamalapur in Dhaka via Padma Bridge to Kashiani in Gopalganj , Narail and Singia Junction in Jessore . 39 thousand 80 crores have been spent on the construction of 162 km railway from Dhaka to Jessore .

Dhaka - Khulna trains will now run regularly over Narail . In this, the distance to Khulna via Dhaka - Bhanga - Narail - Jessore will be only 172 km. Both cost and time will be saved . According to the proposal , Chitra Express and Sundarban Express will run four pairs of trains daily from Khulna to Dhaka via Padma Bridge . It will leave Khulna at 6 am , 12:30 pm , 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm every day from Jessore , Narail , Banga and reach Dhaka via Padma Bridge . The new train has 12 passenger compartments . It also includes AC chair and AC sleeper compartment . The minimum fare has been fixed at Rs 550 in the proposal .

The people of Narail say that the people of the district are waiting for the opening of a new horizon in the communication system through the railway from Dhaka to Narail . Ever since the trial train was officially launched on Sunday , there has been a flood of joy among the common people . Even after 50 years of independence , no industry has been established in Narail . However, this railway of Narail is showing the light of potential in industrial development . New possibilities of the economy are being created through this .

Narail Station Master Ujjal Biswas said that the people of Narail are going to get the first railway service . It opens the doors of new possibilities in the communication system . Already all our activities like - signalling , infrastructural works have been completed and trial trains have started .

Narail Deputy Commissioner Sharmin Akhtar Jahan said , after completing all the activities , Narail railway station is now ready for the historic railway journey . In this train you can travel from Dhaka to Narail via Khulna to Mongla in a short time .

Local people think that the train will come in Narail , it was not even imagined by people . Both that fantasy and dream are now reality.
