Lawyer Saiful Islam Alif was killed in Chittagong in a clash over the bail of Chinmoy Krishna Das, spokesperson of Sammilit Sanatani Jagran Jot. In this incident, his father Jamal Uddin filed a murder case at Chittagong Kotwali Police Station as the plaintiff. 31 people have been accused in the case.

It has been mentioned in the statement of the case that lawyer Saiful Islam Alif was killed in the Chittagong court premises at the instigation of Awami League, Jubo League and Chhatra League. The deceased Alif's father Jamal Uddin filed the case at Chittagong Kotwali police station on Friday night as the plaintiff.

In the statement of the case, Alif's father complained that the court rejected the bail of Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, the spokesperson of Bangladesh Sammilit Sanatani Jagran Jot, in a case of sedition at around 11 am on November 26. As soon as the order was passed, the ISKCON lawyers for the accused became enraged and made various obscene remarks directed at the court and created ruckus in the court. Then the 11-named and unidentified accused, followers of Chinmoy Krishna Das, stood in front of the prison van and obstructed the duty of the police on duty.

It is also mentioned in the statement that when the law and order forces used batons to remove the angry people from the front of the prison van, they vandalized lawyers and government vehicles while leaving the court premises. On the same day around 4:30 pm, when his son Advocate Mohammad Saiful Islam Prakash Alif was going to his home, the accused saw the beard on his face and brutally hacked him and seriously injured him. At this time they gave a shout of victory in the name of expelled ISKCON leader Chinmoy Krishna Das. After listening to the details of the incident from the local people and his son's colleagues, he learned that the accused killed his son with the direct and indirect instigation of Chhatra League, Jubo League, Awami League and various levels of party organization.

While explaining the reason for the late filing of the case, it has been said in the statement that after completing the son's funeral and funeral prayers, after talking with the relatives, after seeing the video and still images of the incident, he went to the police station to collect the names and addresses of the accused and filed the statement.

Chinmoy Krishna Das, who was arrested in a sedition case filed by a former BNP leader at Kotwali police station on Tuesday, was denied bail. Chinmoy's followers blocked the prison van and protested for about three hours after being taken to the prison van to be sent to jail later.

At one point, the police, BGB used batons and lobbed sound grenades to disperse the protesters. At that time, the followers of Chinmoy Krishna Das clashed with the members of law and order forces. Later lawyer Saiful Islam Alif was hacked and beaten to death in Rangam cinema hall opposite the entrance of Chittagong court building.
