Pagla mosque got a record 30 bags of Tk

After opening 12 donation boxes and an iron chest of the famous Pagla Mosque in Kishoreganj, 30 sacks of Tk were found. This amount of money has never been found before. At the moment, the work of calculating the money is going on. After 3 months and 14 days, these donation boxes were opened on Saturday morning at 7 am. Additional District Magistrate and Convener of Danbox Opening Committee Mizabe Rahmat confirmed this information.

The donation boxes were opened in the presence of Deputy Commissioner and Pagla Mosque Management Committee President Fauzia Khan and Superintendent of Police Mohammad Hasan Chowdhury. A large number of army, police and Ansar members were also present at the time.

Earlier on August 17, 3 months and 27 days after opening 9 donation boxes and a trunk of Kishoreganj's historic Pagla mosque, 28 sacks of Tk were found after counting Tk 7 crore 22 lakh 13 thousand 46 and a large amount of gold ornaments and foreign currency.

Earlier on April 20, a record 7 crore 78 lakh 67 thousand 537 taka was found in nine donation boxes of Pagla Mosque. Besides, foreign currency and gold ornaments were found. According to the sources of the mosque management committee, at around 7 am on Saturday, 9 donation boxes of the mosque were opened in the presence of Kishoreganj Deputy Commissioner Fauzia Khan and Superintendent of Police Mohammad Hasan Chowdhury and other responsible officials. The donation boxes were opened and 29 sacks filled with money were brought to the second floor of the mosque for counting. Now counting is going on.

Kishoreganj District Additional Deputy Commissioner (Overall) Md. Rubel Mahmud, Rupali Bank Assistant General Manager (AGM) Rafiqul Islam along with about 285 students of Madrasa, 85 staff of the bank, 34 members of the mosque committee and 10 members of law and order force participated.
