Saiful Alam, editor of the Daily Jugantor, said, "We are not limited to just collecting and providing news. We have a separate responsibility towards the country, the soil and the society. Jugantor and Swajan Sambalpur are working tirelessly for the welfare of the country and its people."

He made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest virtually at the inaugural ceremony of a workshop organized by the Jugantar Swajan Sambalpur in Gouripur, Mymensingh.

The Jugantar editor further said, Jugantar has many relatives and friends. With whom Jugantar has a bond of love, affection and heart. We are working together. Relatives are working in any natural disaster including floods, droughts. This is a matter of our pride. Gauripur Relatives' Association is consistently fulfilling many responsibilities.

A two-day writing training workshop began at the Upazila Officers Club auditorium on Friday. The program was presided over by Upazila Swajon President Md. Emdadul Haque. General Secretary Selim Al Raj moderated the program.


Special guests delivered speeches including Himel Chowdhury, Divisional Head of Swajan Sambalpur, Emon Chowdhury, Senior Associate Editor of Jugantor, Satyajit Biswas Rana, Ishwarganj Representative of Jugantor, Abul Kalam Azad, Nandail Representative Shams-e-Tabriz Raihan, Gouripur Representative Md. Raish Uddin, Former General Secretary of Ishwarganj Press Club Md. Selim, and President of Gouripur Municipal Swajan, Shyamal Ghosh.

Also expressing their feelings were Shahjahan Fakir, Md.
