Ferry services have resumed on the Daulatdia river route in Rajbari and Paturia in Manikganj after three hours as the fog cleared. Ferry services resumed at 9:15 am on Tuesday when the fog on the river route decreased.
Mohammad Salahuddin, Assistant General Manager of BIWTC Daulatdia Ghat branch, confirmed the matter to Jugantor.
He said that ferry services on this route were suspended from 6:20 am due to increasing fog density. When the fog density decreased, ferry services resumed at 9:15 am.
He further said that currently, 12 small and large ferries are transporting passengers and vehicles on this route. Although the ferries are closed, there is no pressure of passengers and vehicles in Daulatdia.
