The minimum temperature in Dinajpur at 6 am on Tuesday (December 10) was 13.5 degrees Celsius, with air humidity at 95 percent. The district has recorded the lowest temperature of 10.2 degrees Celsius in the current winter season.

According to the Meteorological Office, the low temperature and cold wind in the dense fog have brought public life to a standstill. The suffering of the working people is increasing. They are not able to go to work properly. As a result, their income has started to decline.

The truck driver said that since Monday night, there was so much fog that vehicles 10 feet away could not be seen properly. This is taking longer to reach the destination.


The autorickshaw driver said, "How will people get out of their homes with all the fog and cold air? Earlier, we used to earn 700 to 800 taka daily. For the past few days, we have been earning 400 to 500 taka. When winter comes, we have a hard time."

Dinajpur Regional Meteorological Office official Tofazzal Hossain said that the temperature in Dinajpur was recorded at 10.5 degrees Celsius at 6 am on Tuesday. The humidity was 93 percent at that time. The wind speed was 1 kilometer per hour.
