International Desk: not necessary Recently, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has posted a post on social media Facebook about the importance and significance of life philosophy and university studies.

There is a lot of discussion and criticism about this. Many Facebook users in Bangladesh are sharing the post with a pro-against Sunak caption.

Rishi Sunak wrote in that post that it is not necessary to study in university to be successful in life.

It is easy to accept when an ordinary person says this. But the question has been raised as to how appropriate it is for a British Prime Minister who has a degree from the famous Stanford University in the United States.

Rishi Sunak made the post at 9 pm Bangladesh time on Wednesday. More than 11,000 people have shared the post till 5 pm on Thursday. More than eight thousand people commented on the post at the same time.

Rishi Sunak made the post mainly from personal philosophy. Some of the commentators have criticized this saying of Rishi Sunak. Others praised him. One wrote, I totally agree with you. Another person wrote, take medicine on an urgent basis.

The idea that you don’t need a university degree to be successful in life is misleading, wrote another. What do we mean by success? If we talk about financial success, how many dropout students have become rich compared to the rest of the UK population?

Someone wrote in Rishi Sunak’s post, while you yourself have four masters degrees from the university. Another wrote, Your advice is not applicable to everyone, it is misleading. Another wrote, Education is always the first key to success, anything else is cheating.

Rishi Sunak himself also holds a degree from the famous Stanford University in the United States. In February 2020, Sunak became Chancellor of the Exchequer (Minister of Finance) of Britain.

Another identity of Sunak is that he is the son-in-law of NR Narayanamurthy, the famous Indian industrialist and founder of Infosys. It was at Stanford that he met Narayanamurthy’s daughter Akshta, and they later married.

Rishi Sunak is married to Akshta, the daughter of a rich family. Taking a stab at his family affair, another commented, Success depends on your definition. It varies from person to person. You can get success through education, doing business, even marrying a rich woman.

However, Rishi Sunak did not reply to anyone’s comments on that post.

This leader of the Conservative Party of Indian origin has been serving as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom since 2022. He was the first British Asian Prime Minister.

His party lost in the local government elections on May 2. After two weeks, Sunak announced early elections in the country.

On May 22, he announced from No. 10 Downing Street that the national election will be held on July 4. Sunak shocked everyone by announcing early elections six weeks ago.

In 2015, Rishi Sunak became the first MP for Richmond in the county of Yorkshire in Northern England. He rose quickly in politics
