The Times of India wrote, Indian Central Board of Film Certification-CBFC is not willing to show the scene of attack on Bangladeshi refugees by Pakistani soldiers in 1971.

Besides, the Censor Board asked to remove the scene of a child being crushed by the hands of an army and the scene of beheading of three women.

Not just the scene, the Censor Board has asked to change the surname of a family at one point in the movie.

The film has been rated 'U/A' by the board. This means that viewers under the age of 18 will need their parents' permission to watch the movie.

Kangana has not announced the release date yet despite getting clearance from the Censor Board.

'Emergency', made on India's late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, was supposed to be released on September 6; Kangana was hoping to get the censor clearance at the beginning of the month.

But the Censor Board did not give the green signal for the release of this movie due to 'information distortion'.

Meanwhile, the Sikhs of India have no end of complaints about the 'Emergency'. Kangana blamed the Sikhs for blocking the film at the censor board. Besides, this BJP MP, playing the role of Indira Gandhi, described the role of the Censor Board as 'disappointing and unfair'.

A writ case was filed in Madhya Pradesh High Court against Kangana by a Sikh organization in Jabalpur to stop the movie. After this, the release of the movie was suspended by the court. Kangana alleged that she received death threats from the Sikh community.

Indira Gandhi was shot dead by her Sikh bodyguards on 31 October 1984. The movie shows the scene of Indira Gandhi's assassination.

A staunch supporter of the BJP, Kangana wants to show Indira, the leader of the rival political party Congress, there is a lot of curiosity in all quarters. But Kangana has been saying since the beginning, 'Emergency' is not a biopic, it is a political movie.

The background of the movie is the seventies of the last century, when Indira Gandhi was the Prime Minister of India. From June 25, 1975, India was under emergency for the next 21 months. Kangana comments that an attempt has been made to highlight the political atmosphere of that time in the movie.

In this movie, he not only acted in the title role, he also had the important responsibility of directing and producing.

Apart from Kangana, Anupam Kher, Mahima Chowdhury, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, Satish Kaushik and other actors will be seen in this film.
