Entertainment Desk: Malayalam and Southern industry star actor Vinayakan has been arrested. He was arrested from Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International (RGI) airport on Saturday (September 7) evening.

It is known that actor Vinayakan was in a drunken state. He has been arrested on charges of creating disorder. According to Indian media reports, Inspector K Balaraju of the RGI Airport police station said that the southern star created a chaotic situation around 6 pm on Saturday.

According to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) inspector in their report, Vinayakan had arrived in an IndiGo flight from Kochi and was destined for Goa. At that time, he misbehaved with the staff in charge at the airport gate. Vinayakan was drunk then.

Balaraju said Vinayakan was so drugged that his behavior was strange and visible under its influence. Due to this, a case has been registered after his arrest.

Incidentally, last year too, actor Vinayakan was arrested on charges of obstructing a police officer and threatening and abusing him while intoxicated. Also, various allegations have been made against him at various times.

Earlier, his complaint led to chaos at the Ernakulam Town North Police Station. But at that time he was summoned to the police station due to problems with his wife in his own apartment. Again, Vinayakan created controversy by using defamatory words against former Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and making inappropriate comments on the 'MeToo' movement.

Vinayak's career began as a dancer. He made his debut on the big screen in 1995 with the director Malayalam industry's movie 'Manthirakom'. After a long break of six years, he returned again with the movie 'Onaman'. Since then he has been working regularly. The star gained fame by acting in comic characters.
