Ibrahim Khalil, JOB representative:  The teachers and students of Jagannath University have held a wall writing program demanding the appointment of a vice-chancellor from among the teachers.

On Sunday (September 15) at 11 am, various slogans demanding the appointment of a vice-chancellor were written on various walls of the university. University teachers, students, officials and employees participated in this program.

The words written on the wall are, Jabi is not a child now, no more external VC, I have only one demand, I want VC from Jabi, 19 years of deprivation, external VC is not acceptable, not a ruler, I want a guardian, etc.

In this regard, Abdullah Al Mamun, a student of the Islamic Studies Department of the university, said that many students participated in the program today. Many have brought their own colors. For 19 years we have not received any VC from our teacher. As a result, there was no development in our campus. Of course we want an honest and brave vice chancellor.

Billal Hossain said that graffiti was done on the campus today as part of a series of programs demanding the appointment of a vice-chancellor from among the teachers of Jagannath University. The university family's demand for life has been expressed through graffiti.

There has been a huge response to this program. However, many could not participate today due to heavy rain. If there is a delay in appointing the vice-chancellor, the wall writing program will be repeated.

Hopefully the government will accept our demand. A qualified, honest and efficient teacher will be appointed as Vice-Chancellor from the post without delay.
