Launch movement on Daulatdia-Paturia route is normal

Jumbangla Desk : After being closed for 46 hours, launch movement on Daulatdia-Paturia route has been normalized. The launch movement on this route is normal from 9 am today Monday. Earlier, due to adverse weather conditions, the Padma river was rough and the authorities stopped the launch from 11 am on Saturday to avoid accidents.

It is known that due to the hostile weather, the authorities temporarily stopped the launch movement from 11 am on Saturday to avoid accidents. However, ferry service on this route was normal. Due to which passengers and vehicle drivers did not have to suffer. The number of passengers and vehicles is decreasing at Daulatdia end due to adverse weather conditions.

Manager of BIWTC Daulatdia Ferry Ghat. Salahuddin Sheikh said, ferry traffic was normal at Daulatdia end. Due to which passengers and vehicle drivers did not suffer.
