Thousands of people flocked to Chittagong to celebrate

Jumbangla Desk: On the occasion of the holy Eid Miladunnabi (PBUH), some people are running to take part in processions on foot, on motorcycles and on trucks or pickups in different areas including Muradpur of Chittagong. Children and old people are also taking part in the procession in the traditional celebration of Ya Nabi Salam Alaika. Since Monday (September 16) morning, many people have come from different upazilas and districts of Chittagong to participate in the procession.

There is no place for devout Muslims to walk in processions in various areas including Muradpur, Sholshahar, Gate No. 2, Chowkbazar, Oxygen, Bayezid, GEC Mor, Technical Mor, Mohammadpur, Bahaddarhat.
Meanwhile, Chittagong is colorfully decorated on the occasion of Julus. Arches have been installed at various intersections. The banner-festoon is pasted. Special flags have also been planted on both sides of the road. There are also temporary shops for various items including food. Volunteers are distributing sherbet at different intersections. A large number of law enforcement personnel are present in the entire area. At the same time, detective police members are working in white clothes.
Mohammad Humayun Parvez, Assistant Teacher of Muhammadiyah Ahmadiyya Sunni (Alim) at Bhatiari Madrasa in Chittagong, told the media that lakhs of people have participated here because of the love of the Prophet. People find their peace when they come to Zulus.
Panchlaish Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Solaiman said that all measures have been taken for the safety of the procession.
