Aruna Biswas, Rokeya Prachi are accused in the case with Sheikh Hasina

Jumbangla Desk: A case has been filed in Sonargaon police station in the name of 179 people with former prime minister Sheikh Hasina as the main accused in the case of shooting and paralyzing a youth in Kanchpur of Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj during the anti-discrimination movement. Actors Aruna Biswas, Rokeya Prachi have also been accused in that case.

Ruhul Amin (39), a resident of Ladurchar village of Noagaon union of Sonargaon upazila, filed this case as the plaintiff on Monday morning. He was shot and injured during an anti-discrimination student movement in Kanchpur.

Ruhul Amin, the plaintiff in the case, stated that the accused in connivance with each other shot and injured him seriously during the anti-discrimination student movement at Kanchpur in Sonargaon on July 20. As a result, he is currently in a state of paralysis.

Sonargaon Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) MA Abdul Bari confirmed the case and said, "The incident will be investigated and legal action will be taken."

The rest of the accused include former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, former Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, former Foreign Minister Hasan Mahmud, Sheikh Rehena, Sajib Wazed Joy, former Food Minister Advocate Kamrul Islam, DB chief Harun Or Rashid, former MP Nazrul Islam Babu of Narayanganj along with Sonargaon.
