Science and Technology Desk: Suzuki has lifted the curtain on one of their new motorcycles. This is the new version of Suzuki Katana. As an update, it has been given two new attractive colors. This step of the company is to bring the tide in the enthusiasm of the buyers.

Note that the new version of Katana has been shown in the Japanese market. Now this bike is available in Pearl Vigor Blue and Metallic Mystic Silver colors. Presumably, these new color models will be introduced in the markets of other countries including Japan.

The company has not made any changes in the technical aspects of this bike. The Suzuki Katana will run on the same 999 cc inline-four cylinder liquid-cooled motor as before. It will produce 149 bhp of power and 106 Nm of torque. The motor is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Suzuki offers several rider-aids on their New Katana. These include riding mode, a traction control system, low rpm assist and a ride-by-wire system.

The Suzuki Katana has bikini fairing and street fighter styling with fair sporty bodywork. It has square LED headlights, LED DRLs. In short, it has modern features with retro elements.

Incidentally, Suzuki Katana was also launched in the Indian market. But due to very low demand, Suzuki has announced its sale a few days ago. So there is no possibility of re-launch of the new model in India.
