They were produced in the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Mosharraf Hossain of Dhaka on Monday (September 16).


On this day, the investigation officer of the case, Mirpur Model Police Station Sub-Inspector Abdur Rahman requested to detain them in jail.

The application will be heard in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mosharraf Hossain.


Earlier, former Culture Minister Asaduzzaman Noor was arrested from Navartan Colony on Bailey Road in the capital at 11 pm on Sunday. And the police arrested the former Minister of State for Aviation Mahbub Ali from Segunbagicha in the capital.

The father of Siam Sardar, who was killed on September 12, accused 114 people. Sohag Sardar sued as plaintiff. Accused number 11 of the case is Asaduzzaman Noor. However, Mahbub Ali's name is not in the declaration. He has been arrested as a suspect in this case.


Other notable accused in this case are former Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, former Inspector General of Police Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun, Harun Or Rashid, Monir Hossain, Awami League Leader Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil and Kamal Ahmed Majumdar.

 


According to the complaint of the case, the leaders and activists of Awami League and its affiliated organizations shot indiscriminately on the orders of Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal in front of Abu Taleb School in Mirpur-10 at around 11 pm on July 18. At that time, Siam Sardar was returning home after working at the hotel. He was shot and died.
