Cyber Security Act Case: Naik Sajib and Constable Shoaib arrested

Jumbangla Desk: The police have arrested accused Naik Sajib Sarkar and constable Showaibur Rahman in the Shahjahanpur police station of the capital.
On Monday (September 16), the matter was confirmed by the OC of Shahjahanpur police station. Khairul Islam.
It has been reported that Naik Sajib Sarkar and Constable Shoaibur Rahman have been arrested on the charge of tarnishing the image of Bangladesh Police by making provocative comments and spreading hatred to hinder the provision of services to the public, along with creating enmity and hatred between different classes and communities and destroying communal harmony by misusing social media.
Initially, it was known that constable Showaibur Rahman and some other policemen were involved in creating unrest in the police force at the instigation of subordinate officers of the previous government.
It is to be noted that after the fall of the government in the anti-discrimination student movement, the police force was led by Constable Shoaibur Rahman Shoaib of Rajarbagh Police Line who called the movement to free the political circle and reform.
