BNP rally in Nayapaltan today

Jumbangla Desk: On the occasion of 'International Democracy Day' on Tuesday (September 17) BNP will hold a procession and rally in the divisional cities of the country including Dhaka. The rally will be held in front of the central office of BNP in Nayapaltan of the capital.

The rally of BNP in Nayapaltan will start at 2.30 pm. The chief guest of the rally is acting chairman of the party Tariq Rahman. He will address the activists virtually. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will preside over the rally.

BNP standing committee members will be the chief guests in the procession program of the divisional cities.

The rally was earlier scheduled to take place on September 15 but was rescheduled to September 17 due to inclement weather. In an emergency press conference organized on Saturday (September 14) night, the decision to change the date of the rally was announced by BNP Standing Committee member Professor Dr. A Z M Zahid Hossain.

On that day, AZM Zahid Hossain said that due to the weather, BNP's program for tomorrow (Sunday) has been postponed on the occasion of International Democracy Day. BNP will hold this program in front of Paltan office on 17th at 3 pm. The team is hoping for good weather that day.
