Jumbangla Desk: Shahriar Kabir, the president of the Advisory Council of the 1971 Assassin-Dalal Nirmul Committee, arrested in the murder case, has been taken to court.

He was taken to court on Tuesday (September 17) morning .


Earlier, the police arrested Shahriar Kabir from Banani's house in the capital on Monday (September 16) night.

He has been accused by the investigative body of the International Criminal Tribunal of 'indiscriminate killing and disappearance of corpses, genocide and crimes against humanity'. Shahriar Kabir's name has been mentioned in the complaint filed in 2013 in connection with Hefazet Islam's program in the capital's Shapla square.


Deposed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, politicians, former army officers, former ministers, police, journalists, lawyers and organizers of Ganajagran Manch are named in the complaint.
