Jumbangla Desk: Light to moderate rain or thunder with gusty winds may occur temporarily in all the eight divisions of the country, said the Meteorological Department.

This information was reported in the weather forecast till 6 pm on Tuesday (September 17).

It said that there may be light to moderate rain or thunderstorm with temporary gusty winds at some places of Dhaka, Rajshahi and Khulna divisions and at two places of Rangpur, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Barisal and Chittagong divisions. Along with this, moderate to very heavy rainfall may occur in some places in Rajshahi, Khulna and Chittagong divisions.

According to the weather synoptic condition, the land deep depression is located over Bihar and adjoining areas. It may gradually weaken as it moves west-northwest.

The extension of monsoon axis extended over India's Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, center of land deep depression, Gangetic West Bengal and central Bangladesh to Assam. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and strong over North Bay of Bengal.
