Jumbangla Desk: The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has said that the temperature in the country may rise up to 3 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, in the next three days there may be moderate heavy rainfall in some parts of the country. These data are reported in the forecast for the next 72 hours from Tuesday (September 17) at 9 am.

According to Met Office, the deep depression over Bihar and adjoining areas has moved west-northwestward and is now moving over Jharkhand and adjoining areas as a depression. It may gradually weaken as it moves northwestward. The extension of the monsoon axis extends over Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, the center of land depression, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal and central Bangladesh into Assam. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay of Bengal. On this day (September 17) from 9 am in the next 24 hours, some places of Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and one or two places of Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Barisal divisions may temporarily experience light to moderate rain with gusty winds or rain with thunder. Also, there may be moderate to heavy rainfall in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may increase by (1-3) degrees Celsius across the country.
According to the weather forecast for Wednesday (September 18), light to moderate rain with gusty winds will occur temporarily in some places of Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chittagong, Barisal and Sylhet divisions and two places of Rangpur, Rajshahi and Khulna divisions in the next 24 hours from 9 am today. There may be rain with thunder. Also, moderate to heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.
