He said this after a meeting with various organizations at the Nazia Salma conference room of the Planning Commission of Sherebangla Nagar in the capital on Tuesday (September 17).

Dr. Debapriya said, those who could not give correct information till now due to fear or pressure have been told that now is the time to use it.

He further said that estimates of GDP, National Income, Inflation and ADP have very weak material basis. How these things happen will be looked into. For this we will sit separately with BBS.

Dr. Debapriya said, we will ask for and scrutinize the original contract documents of all types of contracts, including energy contracts.

In response to a question, he said, our third meeting will be held. We got the data. Now let's talk about how to start the writing process. There has been a great response to the open data we asked for. A town hall meeting will be held outside Dhaka soon. Now is not the time to tell what we have got inside, but it will be told when the time comes.

The meeting was attended by representatives of 24 organizations that produce, serve and evaluate government data.
