Jumbangla Desk: After the fall of the Awami League government, every important sector is being reorganized. The Bangladesh Film Censor Board has been reorganized in that continuity. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting announced this information by issuing a notification on Sunday (September 15).

According to the notification of the reorganization of the Censor Board by the order of the President, the new committee started with the Secretary of the Ministry of Information as the Chairman and the Vice Chairman of the Censor Board as the Member Secretary.

The 15 members of the Censor Board include Senior Secretary of the Interim Government Information and Broadcasting Ministry, Secretary of the Law and Justice Department, Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, Additional Secretary (Films) of the Information and Broadcasting Ministry, representative of the Public Security Department, Managing Director of BFDC, President of the Film Directors Association, Film Vice Chairman of Censor Board.

Also present are filmmakers Zakir Hussain Raju, Khizir Hayat Khan, Tasmia Afrin Mou, Kazi Nowshaba Ahmed (actress), Ashfaq Nipun, Mohammad Nazim Uddin (prominent writer) and Rafiqul Anwar Russell (producer and director).
