Donation of 100 crore rupees to 'Julai Shahid Smriti Foundation'

Jumbangla Desk: A grant of 100 crore rupees has been given to 'Julai Shaheed Smriti Foundation' from the Chief Adviser's Fund of the Interim Government.
Snigdha, the brother of Shahid Mochad of the anti-discrimination student movement, told the press conference about the donation taken by the chief adviser today.
Adviser to Information and Broadcasting Ministry Nahid Islam and Adviser to Labor and Employment Ministry Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan were also present at the press conference organized at Foreign Service Academy in the capital.
Meanwhile, Nahid Islam said that seven initiatives have been taken with July Martyr Smriti Foundation. One of the initiatives is to provide emergency financial assistance, one-time allowance and monthly allowance to those who are suffering from financial crisis. We will start it this week.
Urging everyone to extend their support to the foundation, he said, the check has been handed over by the government today. People will be requested to donate to this foundation.
