After the hearing on Tuesday (September 17), Dhaka's Metropolitan Magistrate Shaheen Razor gave this order.

Earlier, Nurul Islam Sujan was remanded for three days on Tuesday afternoon by Metropolitan Magistrate Shaheen Raza Court of Dhaka.

On the evening of September 16, Nurul Islam Sujan was arrested from Bangladesh Specialized Hospital in Shyamli of the capital.


It is known that Awami League activists and police forces opened fire indiscriminately during the anti-discrimination student movement on August 5. Imran Hasan was shot and died. In this incident, on September 1, Kohinur Akhtar, the mother of the victim, filed a case naming 298 people including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Nurul Islam Sujon was accused in this case.

In 2001, Nurul Islam participated in the 8th National Parliament election as an Awami League candidate and was defeated from Panchagarh-2 constituency.
