International Desk: A research center will be built on the ground of the moon within the next decade. Russia and China want to prepare in advance. And India is ready to join hands with arch-rival China in this huge activity. Two friendly countries, China and Russia, have already joined hands to build a joint base on the moon.

Russia and China plan to build nuclear reactors on the moon by 2035, keeping in mind uninterrupted power supply on the moon. And it is reported that India and China have joined hands with Russia in this campaign. According to the report published in the Russian media "Tas", the Russian space research agency "Roscosmos" and the Chinese space research agency "CNSA" are interested in building a base on the moon in a joint venture. India will also be with Russia-China in this campaign.

By 2040, Russia wants to complete the plan to send astronauts from Earth to carry out research and exploration on the Moon. To run a research center on the moon, first of all, power supply will be needed. There is no alternative to a nuclear reactor to build its own base on the Moon. Because according to the earth, the moon has 14 consecutive days of day, and 14 consecutive days of night.

So it is not possible to get uninterrupted power supply by installing solar panels. A decision has been taken to build a nuclear reactor after considering the alternative, so that the power supply continues. According to 'Tas', a nuclear power plant will be built under the leadership of the Russian nuclear power company Rosatom with the cooperation of three other countries. Alexey Likhachev, head of the company, said that it will be possible to produce up to 500 kilowatts of electricity in this center.

Building a nuclear reactor on the moon is not an easy task. However, Russia has said that the task will be performed automatically. People will not be needed for construction. The American space research agency Nasa also said earlier that in a few years they will arrange nuclear power generation on the moon.

According to various media sources, NASA is already gearing up for their 2025 Artemis-2 mission to the moon. They have also referred some organizations to study where a possible nuclear power plant can be built at a cost of Rs 41 crore. Astronauts will land on the Moon's south pole when the Artemis-3 mission is launched in September 2026. After that, Artemis 4 will be sent to the moon in 2028, according to the American space research agency.

China and Russia signed an agreement in 2021. It is agreed that the two countries will help each other in their space research. Not only for their own use, but other interested and cooperating countries of the world can conduct research on the moon from that base if they want. But it is well known that NASA will not respond to this call of Russia. America has imposed economic sanctions on Russia due to the war with Ukraine. Due to this, relations between Russia and America have further deteriorated.

Russia is also going to leave the International Space Station by 2025. Therefore, it is considered that NASA astronauts will not have the right to enter the Chinese-Russian research center on the moon. Apart from America, China, Russia, India successfully landed their spacecraft on the moon. Isro's Chandrayaan-3 lander Vikram made history by landing on the South Pole of the Moon. After that, Japan also sent a spacecraft to the moon. They are fifth in the race.
