Jumbangla Desk: Miscreants have attacked the grave of Moin Uddin Khan Badal, president of a section of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSAD) and former Member of Parliament of Chittagong-8 Constituency.

Today (September 17) Tuesday around 4 pm, the incident took place at the family cemetery of West Sarwatli Ahmadullah Khan house in Boalkhali upazila.

According to local sources, miscreants in Microbus Yog attacked and vandalized the graveyard and set fire to the grave and escaped. Police visited the spot.

He passed away on November 7, 2019 at 5:30 am while undergoing treatment at the Narayan Heart Institute in Bangalore, India. Moin Uddin Khan Badal's house is in Sarwatali village of Boalkhali upazila. He was Member of Parliament from Boalkhali Chandgaon (Chittagong-8) Constituency in Chittagong.

Moin Uddin Khan Badal actively participated in the liberation war in 1971. Badal also played a role in forming 14 parties under the leadership of Awami League.
